The hotel offers large immaculate rooms with everything we needed, including a good-sized bed and great views. The service was incredibly friendly and very helpful, with the perfect balance of professionalism and engaging charm. Located in a quiet village close to Shrewsbury, the hotel is excellent for site-seeing and walking. The dining experience was lovely, with a complimentary plate of taster breakfasts but served on cold plates. Overall, a good value for money stay with a few minor cons.

7.0/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were well appointed and welcoming in appearance, though a bit cool in temperature without means of cooling. Unfortunately, my room opened directly onto the car park, which was not very appealing with litter and leaves around. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings nice, but the size was a bit small.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were small but nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable.
Service
6.0
The staff seemed to be more interested in their mobiles than attending to customers, which was a downside. However, when they were engaged, they were very welcoming and friendly.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located on the edge of a small village on the main road, offering a quiet atmosphere. It was a bit hard to find in the dark but had a picturesque setting. It's not far from Shrewsbury where you can enjoy a drink before your meal.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was a huge highlight. The food was amazing, with plenty of choices and friendly service. However, there was a huge disappointment that affected the overall experience.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had limited facilities, which was a bit of a letdown considering the price.
